Everybody loves something for free. Especially otherwise pricey cosmetics! This could be just what you’ll get with the Allure free stuff program. They give away new, high quality make-up, perfumes, and anti-aging products along with skin and hair care products. Each month, they give away around five to eight different products. The quantity of each product varies from about two hundred and fifty to a thousand, depending on the products.
Started by Linda Wells in 1991, Allure magazine is a women’s beauty and fashion magazine. It is published monthly, with Wells as its editor in chief, and contains different columns and articles of different beauty tips and products.
Although many magazines have contests or sweepstakes for their readers to win certain products, Allure’s giveaways are a little different. They give away different beauty products every month at a certain time. This is done at the beginning of every month, and they aren’t just the little trial sizes that many places will send you. You know the ones – those tiny little samples that last one or two applications. These are full sized products! These are all given out until they are gone, and keep in mind that there are a limited number of products that they give away. Just be sure and keep an eye on the calendar and clock, so you don’t miss out.
So, how exactly do you go about getting your free beauty supplies? It’s really quite simple. All you have to do is log onto the Allure website at www.Allure.com and click on the “Free Stuff” link. At the top of the page will be a picture and description of the Allure free product for that day, and below that will be a list of the other free products that you could get. It will also have the number of free products available. Most of these giveaways start at noon Eastern Standard Time. If you’re in a different time zone, you will have to adjust for your time zone – eleven o’clock in the morning, Central Time, for example. Get to the site a few minutes before the giveaway starts, and click on the free product that you would like. Fill out the form, and make sure that all parts of the form are filled out correctly, or you may not be eligible. Now, watch the clock. When the clock hits on the specified time, click submit, and your form will be sent.
Unfortunately, with the Allure free stuff program, you won’t know if you are one of the people who has submitted your form in time. You will not be notified. Instead, Allure passes your name onto the sponsors and companies that the products come from. These sponsors and companies are then the ones responsible for shipping out your product. This can take anywhere from a couple of weeks to a few months.
There are a few things to remember about the Allure free stuff program. First, they really only have two stipulations to enter – you have to be a United States resident and you have to be age eighteen years or older. Second, during the days of the giveaways, the site can get pretty jammed up from all of the traffic, due to everyone that wants to get their hands on free stuff. Third, they do share your contact information with affiliates and other third parties. These are the advertisers that help get you free stuff, though, so it’s all worth it in the end!
